Anesthesia

We are committed to providing you with the highest quality, most comfortable care possible.  In addition to anti-anxiety dentistry options, we also provide anesthesia to help alleviate any pain that may be associated with your treatment.

Analgesics
These include both narcotic and non-narcotic varieties, from aspirin, acetaminophen, and anti-inflammatories to codeine.  This range of analgesics allows us to treat everything from minor swelling to more severe pain. 

Local Anesthesia
Topical anesthetics are useful in preventing superficial pain as well as numbing an area in preparation for an injectable local anesthetic.

Injectable local anesthetics prevent pain in a specific area of your mouth by blocking the pain-transmitting nerves and numbing the surrounding tissue.  This type of anesthetic may be used is such procedures as fillings, crowns, or treating gum disease.
