Dr. Irving I. Zamikoff graduated from the University of Toronto Dental School with
honors in 1967. He completed advanced masters specialty training in prosthodontics at the
University of Michigan and implant training at the University in Gotenburg Sweden. He is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He was a full-time associate professor
at LSU School of Dentistry for five years and has practiced in Bradenton since 1975. At
present, Dr. Zamikoff is a visiting Clinical Professor at the University of Florida. He
has served as president of the Manatee Dental Society, Florida Prosthodontic Association
and the Florida Dental Health Foundation. In addition, he is a member of the
American
Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association,
American Academy of Osseointegration
(implants), and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is an assistant editor of the state dental journal and serves as
west coast chairman
of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Zamikoff has published numerous articles and contributed
to texts on dentistry. He has lectured on a local, national and international level.
