Andrew I. Varga, D.M.D. received his Doctorate of
Dental
Medicine in 2001 from the University of Florida
where he completed his undergraduate and graduate
training.
While serving as a commissioned
dental officer, in the United States Navy, he completed
a hospital based dental residency program
at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.
Lieutenant Commander Varga deployed
worldwide with the Seabees during Operation Enduring
Freedom II and completed his active duty in 2005.
Dr. Varga is a
member of the
American Dental Association,
the
Florida Dental
Association, the West Coast
Dental Association, and is a past president
of the Manatee Dental
Society. He is also a member of the
Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a
past winner of the Smile Gallery Award. He
is a past winner of the Bradenton Herald
People's Choice Award for favorite dentist.
Dr. Varga is also a member of the the
Academy of General
Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Dental
Honor society. He is on staff at
Blake
Medical Center and has lectured
to dentists and physicians concerning dental issues.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors
of the American Cancer Society, Manatee County
Chapter. He is a member of the Manatee
County Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership
Manatee Alumni Association.
