Dr. Andrew I. Varga received his doctorate of dental
medicine in 2001 from the University of Florida
where he completed his undergraduate and graduate
training. He also received a Bachelor of Science
in Food Science and Human Nutrition, with a specialty
in Nutrition, a BS in Microbiology and a minor in
Chemistry. While serving as a commissioned
dental officer, in the United States Navy, he completed
a year long hospital based dental residency program
at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. He deployed
worldwide with the Seabees during Operation Enduring
Freedom II and completed his active duty in 2005.
Having returned home to the Tampa Bay area, he joined
the practice of Drs. Zamikoff, Klement and Jungman.
Dr. Varga is a member of the
Academy of General
Dentistry, the
Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the
Manatee Dental
Society, the
Florida Dental
Association, the
American Dental Association
and the West Coast
Dental Association. He is on the staff
at Blake
Medical Center in Bradenton and has lectured
to dentists and physicians concerning dental issues.
